- we are now closed for our seasonal break, we will b e open in St Mawes from Thursday 8 January 2026.
we also close for lunch between 1 - 2 pm, this is when Luna, the gallery mascot and head of security, has her lunch and walk. we are always available for private out-of-hours viewings please contact us on the gallery mobile 07496 953471, or if you have any questions or enquiries regarding available works and future exhibitions.
DIRECTIONS
From Truro or St Austell use the A390 to take the A3078 to St Mawes via Tregony.
Alternatively if travelling from the direction of Falmouth or Helston it may be quicker take the King Harry Ferry, to St Just in Roseland and then the A3078 to St Mawes.
There is also a passenger ferry from Falmouth to St Mawes which has a regular all year round service ( subject to weather conditions and tides ). If you are lucky you may catch sight of a dolphin or two.
A regular bus service runs from Truro to St Mawes, the no; 50, it is a very scenic route with wonderful sea and country views, calling in at Probus, Tregony and Portscatho on the way to St Mawes.
PARKING
There are 2 public ‘Pay And Display’ car parks in St Mawes, the main one is behind the Rising Sun, this is also where the bus stand is and the smaller car park is located on the harbour, as well as a number of time limited bays.
During the winter months parking is relaxed along the beach but do check with the clearly marked signs along the road and which beaches and seating areas allow dogs. ( Some beaches ban dogs from 10 am - 6 pm during the summer months ).
ACCESS
tregony contemporary is located on a quite steep but short hill, the gallery is on one level and we do have a wheelchair ramp as there is a small front step to our entrance.
