tregony contemporary is an artist-run gallery with an impressive roster of distinguished British and international contemporary artists. The gallery enjoys a fine reputation as both an established local landmark and a vibrant online space. Gallery owners Brian and Judi Green seek to celebrate distinctive observational painting and artists who possess something different in the way they see and interpret the world. Maintaining a close bridge between Cornwall and London, Brian and Judi share their vision of curating and collecting art through an exciting programme of on-site exhibitions, catalogues and featured works on their popular Instagram account.

Founded in 2015 by directors Brian and Judi Green, Tregony Contemporary (formerly Tregony Gallery) has grown from strength to strength as a platform to showcase exceptional local and international art. After nine years based in the ancient village of Tregony, the gateway to the Roseland Peninsula, it recently relocated to St. Mawes to become Tregony Contemporary. St Mawes is one of the most picturesque coastal towns in England, home to a vibrant arts community. The thriving new space enhances Brian and Judi’s artistic vision and celebrates the creative spirit of Cornwall.

Brian and Judi Green who moved to Cornwall over twenty years ago. Drawing from their lifelong fascination with art and culture, after more than 35 years working in the creative industries, including running their own design consultancy in London for over 25 years, their background has had a significant influence on their presentation of the gallery and their selection of new artists and makers.

Brian has extensive knowledge as a graphic designer, focussing on branding and styling and since 2002, Judi is herself a successful artist. Over the years Brian and Judi have honed their own distinctive style and are avid followers and collectors of a broad range of art and objects. They are driven by their enthusiasm for the artists they work with, and their dedication to helping collectors and first time buyers find that perfect piece. It is this personal approach that they would like to impart on all visitors to the gallery.

Tregony Contemporary has become a catalyst for new interactions in art by bringing people together from all over the world and to become synonymous with an exceptional standard of art in the South West.
