Founded in 2015 by gallery directors Brian and Judi Green, Tregony Contemporary (formerly known as Tregony Gallery) is an artist-run gallery nestled in the scenic coastal town of St Mawes on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula.

After Nine successful years in the ancient village of Tregony, the gallery moved to St Mawes in Spring 2024, expanding its space and further cementing its reputation as one of Cornwall's most distinctive art destinations.

With an impressive roster of both local and international artists, Brian and Judi Green have cultivated a platform that celebrates technical brilliance, originality, and depth. Their program of exhibitions and artist talks has gained them a loyal following among local visitors and global collectors alike, earning critical acclaim in media worldwide.

The new gallery space reflects not only their artistic vision but also the vibrant creative spirit of Cornwall, serving as a testament to the region's rich heritage and its place in contemporary art.

Maintaining a close bridge between Cornwall and London, Brian and Judi share their vision of curating and collecting art through their annual exhibition 'Assemble' in central London is yet another milestone in Tregony Contemporary's journey, showcasing how a deep connection to Cornwall and a commitment to exceptional art can resonate far beyond borders.

St Mawes, within the Roseland Peninsula, has been designated part of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for the quality of the landscape and unrivalled coastal scenery. St Mawes has three fine beaches, especially at low tide.

You will also find the Idle Rocks hotel, St Mawes hotel, Tresanton hotel and Ship & Castle hotel, The Rising Sun and The Victory pubs close by, not to mention, shops, cafes and restaurants. St Mawes also has a pharmacy, surgery and dentist.

There is a regular bus service to and from Truro, bus 50 and a daily ferry to Falmouth.
