Tregony Contemporary thrilled to host Julie Held LG NEAC's first solo exhibition with Tregony Contemporary, The Reciprocity of Seeing. This highly anticipated show celebrates Julie’s profound engagement with colour as a means to express the poignant and fragile cycles of life.
A distinguished artist with a remarkable career, Julie studied at Camberwell College of Arts and The Royal Academy Schools in London. Her work has been showcased at renowned exhibitions, including The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The London Group, The Jerwood Drawing Prize, The Threadneedle Prize, Flowers Central, The National Portrait Gallery, and The Barbican in London. Internationally, she has held solo exhibitions in Prague, Leipzig, and Hamburg.
Julie’s work is held in esteemed public collections, such as Nuffield College, Oxford University, New Hall, Cambridge University, The Open University, The Ruth Borchard, The Ben Uri Collection, and the Tomas Choir School in Leipzig. She is an elected member of the London Group, NEAC, RWS, and the Arborealists.
