Leonie Stanton

"My ceramics examine geometry, volume and form, trying to capture a tension between scale and intimacy, whilst encapsulating a sense of solidity and quiet. I work in series, making collections of responses with the intention of creating forms purely for contemplation”.

Leonie studied History of Art & History of Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, BA (Hons) 1993, History of Design, Royal College of Art, MA (RCA/VA) 1995, Fine Art: Painting, Wimbledon School of Art, BA (Hons) 1999 and Diploma in Ceramics, City Lit College, London, 2015.
