David Baird

We currently have no works by David in the gallery but do check back for future additions. David Baird began studying painting in 2006 at the Ryder Studio School in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and went on to attend classes in France at Studio Escalier (2012-2014) in Argenton-Chateau and Paris.
In 2015 he participated in the JSS Master Class program in Civita Castellana, Italy, conducted by Israel Hershberg, benefitting both from the light and colour of the Italian landscape as well as extensive exposure to some of Europe’s greatest works of art.
He continued his studies at the Jerusalem Studio School in Jerusalem, Israel from 2018-2019, and in the summer of 2019 he was awarded the Avigdor Arikha Memorial Scholarship and returned to Civita Castellana.
David has also travelled broadly teaching in the US, Australia, and Europe, and has been visiting faculty at Studio Escalier since 2016.
